Another year of the Against the Crowd Blogathon has come and gone, and brought with it a lot of fiery opinions and colourful language. I think movies are so commonplace that we often forget that they’re art and, being art, their interpretation is subjective. This leads to differing opinions – which I think is great! I like it when someone agrees with me but I love it when someone disagrees with me because it forces me to see things from a different point of view and challenges me to defend my opinions. I’ve definitely disagreed with many entries but I can’t fault the passion behind the posts.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined in the conversation and came up with witty, and invariably hilarious posts that showed why the world is wrong. I enjoyed reading every one of your posts and can’t wait to see what you guys come up with next year.
The next thank you I have to extend is to Dell from Dell On Movies. He’s one of my favourite bloggers and to have someone I look up to want to co-host a blogathon with me is a huge honour. I’m looking forward to future collaborations and, as always, reading his great reviews and thoughts on film.
Okay, I think I hear someone playing me off so enough rambling from me, here’s all the wonderful posts that made this year’s Against the Crowd Blogathon another hit:
So glad you were able to co-host with me once again. I’m also looking forward to next year!
